We are building a new swimming pool in Warsaw

Construction of a modern swimming complex is underway on Ostródzka Street in Warsaw. Key earthworks and foundation work have been completed at the construction site, and work is currently underway on the construction of the underground part of the facility.

Recently, the construction site was secured, back-up facilities were constructed, and temporary connections and signage were put in place. Earthworks were completed, including excavation for the underground level of the swimming pool along with the drainage installation. Tower cranes were set up at the construction site and the foundation slab for the facility was laid.

Currently, intensive reinforced concrete works are underway on level -1. Among other things, the concreting of the bottom of the sports pool basin, i.e. the construction of its lower reinforced concrete slab, has been completed. At a later stage, the final stainless steel pool basin will be installed on it.

At the same time, carpentry work is being carried out on the ceiling at level 0. The next stages include the completion of the shell of the above-ground part, backfilling the building and commencing the construction of sanitary networks.

The complex under construction will be one of the most modern sports and recreational facilities in the Polish capital. It will include a sports pool with eight 25-meter swimming lanes, a recreational pool with a relaxation area, a swimming pool for swimming lessons, a children’s paddling pool, two tube slides measuring approximately 122 and 56 meters long, a family slide, and other water attractions. A sauna area and a stand for 150 spectators are also planned.

The design incorporates environmentally friendly solutions such as a green roof, photovoltaic system, and heat pumps, and the entire facility will also be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The project will also include the construction of sidewalks, parking lots, playgrounds and a recreation area. The investor is the Capital City of Warsaw – Białołęka District, and the General Contractor is NDI Group.
