NDI will carry out the largest infrastructure contract in Poland!
Today, the National Appeals Chamber confirmed the selection of NDI to execute the project as part of the Szczecin Western Bypass along the S6 for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. The company will independently carry out the Dołuje-Police section, while the Police-Goleniów section, including the construction of a tunnel under the Oder River, will be carried out by a consortium of NDI and DOGUS.
This will be one of the largest infrastructure contracts in our country’s history. The project will involve the construction of Poland’s longest tunnel, a twin-tube tunnel bored using a TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), with each tube dedicated to traffic in one direction. At its deepest point, the tunnel will be 51 meters below ground level.
“This is a huge responsibility for us and a source of pride. NDI is growing together with Poland, and Poland is developing thanks to ambitious and bold projects delivered by companies like ours. The foundation of our success is people—their knowledge, commitment, and cooperation. We are pleased that the best Polish engineering professionals will be delivering this project—specialists with unique competencies who combine experience with a modern approach to technology, allowing us to safely and responsibly undertake such demanding challenges.” – said Małgorzata Winiarek-Gajewska, President of the Management Board of NDI.
We are not slowing down and continue to #BuildTheFuture!
