Consortium with NDI Energy to modernize water treatment plant in Rumia
A consortium comprising NDI Energy, WUPRINŻ S.A., and EUROAQUA sp. z o.o. has signed a contract with Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Gdyni for the implementation of the project “Modernization of the water treatment plant in Rumia along with the reconstruction of water intakes and accompanying infrastructure.” The construction site was handed over last week. The investment aims to improve the safety and quality of water supply for residents.
The project scope includes both construction and technological works. It includes the construction and modernization of existing deep wells, as well as the development of several kilometers of water supply and sewage networks. A key component of the investment will be the expansion of medium- and low-voltage energy infrastructure, including the construction of transformer stations to ensure reliable power supply for modern technological installations.
The project also includes the development of a new road layout and the construction of a water treatment plant building equipped with full technological systems. The planned solutions include, among others, raw and treated water tanks, which will increase system capacity and improve the efficiency of water treatment processes. The investment will be carried out in Rumia, Dębogórze, and Gdynia.
The project is scheduled for completion within approximately two years, and the contract value exceeds PLN 83 million (gross). For NDI Energy, this is another project in the field of environmental protection and water and sewage infrastructure.
