NDI Energy has signed a contract for the construction of a gas connection for ResInvest Energy Skawina S.A.
NDI Energy will carry out a strategic infrastructure investment involving the construction of a gas connection to a planned cogeneration plant (simultaneous generation of electricity and heat) based on gas engines. The project for ResInvest Energy Skawina S.A. represents an important element in the development of modern and efficient energy generation sources, contributing to the energy transition and enhancing security of energy supply.
The scope of the investment includes the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline with a diameter of DN400 and a length of nearly four kilometers. The pipeline route has been designed taking into account challenging terrain conditions and existing infrastructure, which requires the use of advanced construction technologies. NDI Energy will carry out several trenchless crossings, including two horizontal directional drillings (HDD) with a total length of approximately one kilometer. Additionally, several crossings using microtunneling technology are planned, each exceeding one hundred meters in length.
Under the contract, NDI Energy is also responsible for the construction of a shut-off and venting station at the site of the planned cogeneration plant, which will play a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the gas pipeline and the entire gas supply system.
Completion of the project is scheduled for 2027. The value of the signed contract amounts to nearly PLN 40 million (gross). The project enables NDI Energy to demonstrate its expertise in gas and energy infrastructure projects, including those involving trenchless technologies.
The construction of the gas connection in Skawina is part of the development of local energy infrastructure and establishes a foundation for the planned cogeneration installation, contributing to increased efficiency and flexibility of the regional energy system.
