We focus on hydraulic engineering. NDI Group at the Baltexpo 2025 trade fair

NDI Group presented its projects and competences at this year’s Baltexpo trade fair, the largest maritime industry event in Poland. The participation of NDI Group in this event highlighted not only its position in the hydraulic engineering market, but also its important role in the implementation of strategic projects for the economy, energy and national defence.

During Baltexpo, NDI Group highlighted its participation in investment projects that illustrate the scale of its operations, particularly in the hydrotechnical sector. These include projects carried out in Gdynia at the PGZ Naval Shipyard, where infrastructure is being built for the Miecznik program – a project strengthening Poland’s defence potential. The construction of the T5 Terminal at the Baltic Hub in the Port of Gdańsk, one of the most modern container facilities in the Baltic Sea, which will also become an installation base for offshore wind farms, was also presented.

NDI has been involved in key infrastructure projects for years, an example of which is the construction of the ORLEN Sea Transshipment Terminal on the Martwa Wisła River, which strengthens the country’s energy security. In March this year, the company signed a contract for the construction of a protective breakwater for the FSRU terminal in the Port of Gdańsk, which is part of the system for diversifying gas supplies to Poland.

During the fair, the company also presented its experience in the scope of already completed investment projects, including the construction of a shipping canal through the Vistula Spit, which opened up new opportunities for the development of the port in Elbląg, and the modernization of the Dębica Canal in Szczecin, increasing the transshipment potential of the local port.

The participation in Baltexpo was an opportunity for NDI Group to showcase its broad portfolio of completed and ongoing projects and to highlight the role the company plays in the modernization of maritime infrastructure in Poland. Thanks to the team’s competence and long-standing track record,

NDI Group remains among the most experienced contractors in the Polish hydraulic engineering industry, participating in projects that are of key importance to the country’s economy and security.
