The NDI Group commences reconstruction of the Auxiliary Quay in the Port of Gdynia
NDI S.A. and NDI Sopot S.A. will carry out construction works on the reconstruction of the Auxiliary Quay in the Port of Gdynia. The investment aims to increase the port’s operational capabilities and enable the safe entry of vessels up to 60 metres wide.
The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Port of Gdynia Authority and the Regional Infrastructure Authority in Gdynia, in compliance with safety requirements and taking into account the strategic nature of the port. The scope of work includes comprehensive reconstruction of the quay, preparation of project documentation and execution of works based on BIM methodology.
The investment will increase the port’s capacity to handle modern vessels, while taking into account safety conditions and the specific nature of the port’s operation as an area of strategic importance.
The value of the investment is nearly PLN 40 million gross, and the planned completion time is 22 months. The project is financed entirely from the Port Authority of Gdynia’s own funds and is part of the long-term development of the port’s infrastructure.
