NDI Energy, as part of the „Government program for the construction or modernization of railway stops for 2021-2025”, carried out the task of building the Piła Fabryczna passenger railway stop on the RL 18 Kutno – Piła Główna line, located on the Piła Główna – Kaczory route.

The project was carried out in the „Design and Build” formula, and the Contracting Authority and the Supervising Entity were PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe.

As part of the investment project, two new single-edge platforms were built, 200 m long and 0.76 m high. The platforms were built in the „L+R” system and equipped with furniture, such as vertical information signs, light boxes, waste bins, benches, shelters, and bicycle racks. A new lighting system and cable ducting were installed, and the platform pavement was marked horizontally to facilitate communication for the blind, visually impaired, and people with mobility difficulties. A communication route between the platforms was also constructed. In addition, the Contractor reconstructed the catenary network, non-traction lines and removed conflicts.

The contract for the implementation of the task was signed by NDI Energy on September 29, 2022, and the task was completed as planned at the end of 2023.
