The Contract for Revitalisation of the LK 272 Line is Signed

NDI S.A. and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe domiciled in Warsaw, Investment Execution Centre in Poznań, signed the contract for the work package connected with rail replacement on railway line No. 272, section Kluczbork – Poznań. The contract is valued at PLN 57,179,450.83 gross. The works are scheduled for completion by the end of November this year.

The work package comprises modernisation of the railway line, track No. 1, from km 131.500 to km 133.918 and from km 150.160 to km 166.653. This will primarily involve replacement of the rails over the track distance of 18.900 km (including replacement of the subgrade over the stretch of about 7.500 km and 10 crossovers at the stations in Jarocin and Sulęcinek), and the paving on 14 road-rail crossings. The platforms of the Sulęcinek and Jarocin stations will be modernised. The same goes for the platforms of the Solec Kujawski stop, and 24 engineering devices over the section subject to modernisation. Redevelopment will furthermore cover the traction network, automatic signalling system at road crossings, traffic control devices, and drainage.
