Intermodal Terminal begins at the Port of Gdynia Logistics Centre
The scope of works includes the construction of a railway siding, transshipment yards and new technical infrastructure, including electricity, telecommunications and storm sewerage networks. It is also planned to reconstruct the existing water supply, sanitary and heating installations, including the construction of a steel overpass for the heating pipelines, and to implement a modern rainwater retention system.
The terminal will be equipped with infrastructure enabling efficient handling of intermodal transport, including a railway ramp, as well as with security systems. A retention tank and internal roads will also be built to facilitate logistics within the site.
