Szczecinek – Runowo Pomorskie

Railway Line 210

The project “Modernization of the railway no. 210 at the section Szczecinek - Runowo Pomorskie” will be implemented in the “design and build” system. Funding will be provided from the resources of the Regional Operational Programme of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship, and the EU grant will amount to 85%.
The project assumes new platforms at the Czaplinek station and 10 stops, among others, in Suliszewo Drawskie and Żelisław. Thanks to the investment, two-rail traffic will be restored at a 30 kilometres section Szczecinek - Łubowo. The plan assumes redevelopment of 33 engineering facilities. After the completion of works, passenger trains will travel at speeds up to 120 km/h, that is up to 40 km/h faster than at present. Modernization of traffic control devices and works at 54 level crossing will increase the level of security. Travel time at the section Szczecinek - Ruowo Pomorskie will be reduced from 1h 30 minutes to about an hour. Construction works are scheduled for the years 2018 - 2019.
