A consortium of companies led by NDI Energy Sp. z o.o. is commissioned by GAZ – SYSTEM to carry out construction works related to the second part of the northern section of the Poland – Lithuania gas interconnection.

The aim of the project is to build a new cross-border gas pipeline with the infrastructure necessary for its operation (including, i.a., a fibre optic cable), which will connect the natural gas transmission systems of Poland and Lithuania, which will contribute to the integration of the transmission systems and gas markets of the Baltic countries. In addition, the construction of the gas pipeline will enable the gas supply to the Polish regions so far without access to natural gas.
