DCT 2 terminal

DCT Gdańsk is the largest container terminal in the Baltic Sea in terms of the cargo handling volumes. The T2 investment project consists in the construction of the second quay. This deep water berthing ground is about 656 metres long and 17 metres deep. The DCT 1 + DCT2 cargo handling capacity amounts 3 million TEU. DCT 2 cargo handling capacity after first stage of investment amounts 1.5 million TEU.
Scope of works: - construction of the quay, all auxiliary works included – 656 m long, 17m deep, together with the infrastructure capable of accommodating STS cranes - container stacking yards plus the necessary infrastructure to accommodate RTG cranes - transport routes capable of serving the heavy terminal gear - storage yards for refrigerant containers, infrastructure included - all necessary installations, especially of the electrical, tele-technical, and sanitary types - transformer stations - redevelopment of the existing workshop - protection/restoration of the shore breakwater in the north-western section of the quay - a new parking area
